Salim is a Transformational Leader who goes beyond managing day-to-day operations and crafts strategies for taking his company, department or work team to the next level of performance and success. His focus is on team-building, motivation and collaboration with employees at different levels of an organization to accomplish change for the better. Transformational leaders set goals and incentives to push their subordinates to higher performance levels, while providing opportunities for personal and professional growth for each employee.
He has worked across multi-site private companies, public sector and government bodies in the UK, Middle East, Asia and Australia. 
Salim specializes in Business Transformation Projects requiring a blend of IT Strategy, Business Architecture, Technology, Governance and Organizational Design while leveraging the value of existing organisational capabilities. He delivers his results by partnering with C-level executive stakeholders and building teams focused on solutions that align business and technology.

Most recently (until Aug 2015), Salim served as CIO for a FinTech startup introducing structure, governance and controls across people, process and technology; successfully achieved ISO 27001:2013 compliance, established a DevSecOps function, optimised the IT Operations and DC infrastructure (using Iaas/PaaS solutions); led a DevOps team to refactor a SaaS platform using micro services, Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions based in Docker, Jenkins, Ansible as well as streamlined an Agile driven SDLC.
Salim has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and is a qualified Non-Executive Director. He is actively engaged in business development, marketing and driving a social media / digital / IoT agenda across UK and Europe. 
Salim believes in continuous improvement & learning and recently graduated from the CIO Academy Oxford focussed on the role of Digital, Cybersecurity and Innovation.
